November 26 set for parliamentary elections in Kuwait.

The cabinet yesterday approved a draft decree that sets November 26 for parliamentary elections, and referred it to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.During the weekly meeting at Bayan Palace, chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the ministers were notified of a decree consenting the resignation of three ministers who will stand in the parliamentary elections.


These are Minister of Public Works and State Minister for National Assembly Affairs Ali Saleh Al-Omair, Minister of Communications and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs Eissa Ahmed Al-Kanderi and Minister of Justice, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yaqoub Al-Sanea. His Highness the Prime Minister thanked the three ministers for their sincere efforts in office, wishing them every success in serving the nation, said Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
