GCC accounts for 68% participation at Cityscape Global Dubai.

The Middle East’s largest real estate exhibition Cityscape Global 2014 is to end at 7 pm in Dubai today. Having commenced on Sunday, September 21, attendance for the mega event was seen at more than 35000 visitors from across the globe.

According to Cityscape Global’s website, participating exhibitors have soared to a record 280 exhibitors from 27 countries this year.The UAE alone boasted 179 companies accounting for 63.9% of the entire number of firms taking part in the international exhibition.


Other countries from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) also took part in the event. Bahrain saw three of its firms at Cityscape Global 2014, namely: Bahrain Bay, Diyar Al Muharraq and Durrat Al Bahrain. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia saw two firms in the event, namely Abdul Aziz AlIbrahim Group for Investment and Al-Jazirah Corporation, while Kuwait saw two of its companies, namely: MAS International Company and SSH Design.

The Sultanate of Oman saw similar participation with Qurum Business Group and Muriya Tourism Development. Finally, two Qatari firms took part in the event, namely: United Development Company (UDC) and United Developers.

The total number of GCC firms taking part this year’s 13th edition of Cityscape Global reached 190 companies, accounting for 67.8% of the mega event, which is seen as one of the most highly anticipated and successful real estate events in the region.
