Association of Pakistani Engineers in Kuwait (APEK) selected their Executive Council.


Association of Pakistani Engineers in Kuwait (APEK) is a non profit organization founded in 2004 by Engr. Ubed ur Rehman Arain a well known personality in Kuwait and H.E. the Ambassador of Pakistan in Kuwait is its Patron. The aim of APEK, is to promote and protect the interests of Pakistani engineers in Kuwait “.

Since from its foundation, this organization is working very actively for the welfare of Engineers,Architects,Town planners and IT professionals resident in Kuwait.

Recently APEK Executive Council Elections for the term 2014 – 2016, were held successfully at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait. The Election was chaired by the nominated Election Commissioner, Mr. Rana Ijaz Sohail, President Kuwait-Pakistan Friendship Association. The Community Welfare Attaché of Pakistan Embassy, Mr. Noor ud Din Dawar, along with Mr. Aziz Ahmed Sulehria were in attendance as official observers.


Members of the Association appeared in good numbers and participated actively in the voting process. The proceeding was initiated with a welcoming note from the outgoing General Secretary, Mr. Mohammad Fakhar Mahmood. This was followed by a short speech by Mr. Ubed ur Rehman Arain, the founder and visionary of APEK. He briefly recollected memories of the birth of this association back in 2004, and shared the experiences of its growth over the years. He also cherished the continued cooperation of the Pakistani Embassy, in this regard.


The event was concluded with a small speech by the new elected President, Mr. Sarwar Inayat. He expressed his gratitude to the senior executive members: Mr. Ubed ur Rahman Arain, Mr. Sami ur Rehman, Mr. Fakhar Alam and Mr. Fakhar Mehmood, for nurturing the association to where it stands today. He assured them, that the newly elected team will put in their best efforts to take this association to even higher levels.
